Red Wine by Ceretto from Piedmont, Italy. This is a silky-smooth Barolo, delicately scented with roses and violets, and showing great aromatic complexity. It can be enjoyed only a few months after bottling, but will continue to improve and develop in elegance for 15-20 years. A wine with plum, meat and chocolate aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, with big yet ripe tannins anda round, ultrarich finish. This has loads of decadent, wild fruit. Impressive and generous. Best after 2008. Wine Spectator 93 points
